I'm sure that would work if you re-designed the adapter plate.
Pull your strut apart and have a look at your current plate and compare them to the drawings ae86-drift is hosting.

Can you supply:-

Mounting hole spacing?

Offset as you have mounted, to centreline of caliper?

Offset from outside of mounting surface to caliper centreline?

I have brackets that may work. So could be interested.

Thanks

Regards

Ok,

Of course, silly me the pitures of it mounted are from somewhere else.

Could you please then measure the distance from the inside of the mounting hole surface to the centerline of the caliper. Basically the distance from the surface where your thumb is holding it as shown in your picture.

Does not need to be acurate, within a couple of millimetres will be fine.

Thanks

Regards

AEeightysix,

Thanks for the numbers. They are just what I needed to know.

I'll take them away and compare to what I have got.

Let you know what I find and then make a decission.

AEeightysix,

Checked what I had and what I am toying with at home.

I would need to do to much work with a couple of brackets I have already to justify buying the calipers this time round. I know what I could do though, in theory to make them fit.

Got to try and recoup some dollars on a couple of my brake conversions now.

Thanks again for the measurements.

Regards

Rodger
