Can I say 1342 as well?
Most common 4 stroke 4 cylinder auto motors are 1342.

That is the correct order (1342)
And if that does not get the motor running the distributor rotor may be 180 degrees out.
At top dead centre (TDC) cylinder one compression/firing, the rotor should point to where the number one plug lead sits on the cap.
I get it wrong about one out of ten goes when not careful after turning the motor over without the dizzy in place.

ae71 kid,
Good to hear you got the motor running.
20 degrees is a lot if that is the idle timming.
If I recall correctly there should be two marks on the crank pulley. The first to come around is the timming mark and the next is TDC. There should be a mark or pointer on the timing chain cover to reference too.
The factory static timing works out to be 12 degrees BTDC and about that at an idle of 900 odd rpm.
If you plan to use normal (low RON) pump ULP drop back to 10 degrees static.
I think, without going back to the manual (which is at home) the distributor should run to around 24 degrees of maximum advance.
Hope this is of help
