Car Wont Start!!!!! Sat, 03 September 2005 05:01 Go to next message
Car wont start!! Turns over but has no spark from the coil to the distributor cap. I replaced the coil and the lead but still no spark! I think I put all the wires back on the right terminals? Two black and one blue on the negative and all the rest on the positive. Can anyone confirm this? I just replaced the coil with a universal one. Could the igniter be stuffed or even the "dual spark" thing that is also hooked into it all. How hard are those to items to get a hold of? Car is JDM sprinter. 4age 16valve. Want to get it going as I just fitted my new Nardi wheel!!!

Thanks... Alex.

i had the same problem bro
was cause my battery was too big and supressed the main engine fuse out of its socket...
check that
igniter could be the issue here if your not getting any spark..
to my knowldge you need these things running for spark
igniter, module, distrubitor cap good, leads and a working spark plug
hope this helps
