You trying to say it ran the stock cast iron exhaust manifold? and not extractors?
I seriously doubt the stock exhaust manifold can flow 300hp.

Intake yes, exhaust no.

i think they ran stock intake, but there was also subtle work on around the valves/ports etc and less scrupulous owners replaced the 5mge with a 6mge crank to up volume to 3litres.

Valve timing and lift was probably modified as well.

Add to that a factory modified EFI system, a professionaly built and balanced engine, a shorter-than-average engine lifespan and you're well on your way to 300bhp at flywheel.

Drivetrain in the British-made Supra works cars was a 4 or 5sp hollinger dog box out of a smaller car - probably a rally-spec'd corolla or sprinter.

Not sure about brakes but most likely AP mutli-spots?

'ART racing' on these forums would be able to tell you more about these engines/cars as he's rebuilding a works supra.

If you're into rallying in Qld, Craig Aggio/Tony Scott run an MA61 in the group P category at QRC level of competition. His car runs a 5mge(+W58) with factory intake (but larger TB) and aftermarket ECU.
