- wiring
I'm pretty sure that I did the wiring correctly. I have one doubt however. The heat sink, distrubitor noise filter. A B-O wire (power) comes out of it along with a W-B wire (usually ground) it goes to the 4agze fuse box. but I cant find it on any wiring diagram so I took a guess and grounded the W-B wire.
- timing
I figure even if timing was off shouldnt it at least spark?
- ignition leads
I'm getting power
- coils
Coils are getting power and there is a slight change in voltage in the signal wire. I measured it to be about .2 volts. Normal?
- ingitior
I am getting power to the igniter and it is sending pulsers.. .2 volts though.
- ambiance
wat?

- wiring...
noise filter, or modern day condenser. W-B is earth, B-O is ignition power.
- ignition leads...
test with ohmmeter. Should be from 3k-8k ohm
- coils...
this suggests coils are working, maybe
- ignitor...
ok, good.
- ambiance...
you have to set the right mood.

another good question anyone would need to help you answer... is it a distributor model, or is it a crank angle sensor and coil packs?

I fitted up a crank angle sensored model to my old mr2, I wasn't really getting spark, all mine was turned out to be the connections in the plug on the CAS weren't really tight and they weren't contacting properly, I squeezed the pins together and it was fine.
