SHEPPARTON VICTORIA

NOVEMBER 25th/26th and 27th 2005



Once again we welcome you to another SPRINGNATS event this our 13th

(how the years go)

By now we hope you have organised your accommodation if not you could be

help out by ringing kerryn on 58 213944.for camping

or the Shepparton Tourist Information on 58 314400.

As normal entries will be taken after November 2nd but you will incer $100.00 penalty

so get in now.

Also remember to send a recent photo of your entered vechile with your entry form and

all cars must have current registration (NO FOTO NO REGO NO ENTRY)



BURNOUT RULES

A new system being put in this years burnout titles and the way entrants will be scored

during burnout eliminations on Saturday afternoon entrants have a maximum of 1 minute

to impress the judges and crowd any entrant that remains stationary will be disqualified.

Drivers and passengers must have helmet, fire extingisher,radiator catch can and a

360 degree tailsharft loop must be fitted (the only exemption will be two piece tailshafts)

After your minute is up you will be advised by an official and also a loud horn that time is up.

Sundays finals entrants will have 3 minutes to impress but Saturday rules still apply.

THE JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL

A minimum of 4 judges will be placed evenly around the Burnout erea and at the conclusion of

each day will meet and compile their scores. Following is the way the burnouts will be scored.



1.Crowd Response

2.Continuity Of Smoke

3.Instant Smoke with the entrant proceeding in a striaght line for the first 15 meters

4.Driving Technique including special turns and the capability to avoid curbs /barriers

5.Presitation of vehicle

6.Blowing a tyre (only one tyre necessary)











Sundays Burnout Finalist Will Be Posted At Springnats Main Office

Sunday morning



BURNOUT RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.It is compulsory for all burnout final entrants to attend drivers briefing 11.00am

Sunday morning at Springnats office.

2.Names will be drawn randomly out of a hat and that number will be placed on top of that

entrants event decal.

3.There will be no swapping of places in the queue , if this is attempted the driver will be disqualified

4.All cars must be seen as street driven vehicles rather than specially built burnout cars.

5.All cars to be assembled with driver at 12.30 at area that will be notified at drivers briefing.

6.All support vehicles must Notify Springnats office before going to burnout erea.

7.Burnout must last 70% of the allocated 3 minutes in the finals

8.No Static Burnouts (this mean instant disqualification)

9.Continuing to do burnout after tyres have blown will incur a 5 point penalty

10.Cars must be clean and well presented

11.No retread tyres or well worn tyres are permitted

12 All wheel nuts must in place and checked for tightness

13.No wheel trims or covers allowed



TOW CARS AND TRAILERS

As last year there will be no charge for these vehicles but remember that you must go to

scutingeering first to attain necessary passes.Only cars with trailers attached are for free

any other support vechiles will be charged $30.00 a day to park in this erea and also must

purchase either a weekend or a day pass.

Friday 25th November 1.00pm to5.30pm (Sports Stadium)

Saturday 26th November 8.30am to 2.30pm (Sports Stadium)

Friday Night After Party at the Aussie 9.30pm to 1.00am


Saturday 26th November

Selleys Show n Shine 9.00am to 5.00pm

Spear a Spud 10.30am to 1.30pm

Go to Whoa 2.30pm to 10.00pm

BF Goodrich Burnout Eliminations 2.00pm to 4.45pm

DB drag racing 1.00pm to 4.00pm

Dynamic Test Systems Dyno Challenge 9.00am to 5.00pm


Jack Daniels After Party at the Aussie 9.30pm to 1.00am





NOTE top 50 cars from saturday,s go to whoa will be posted at main office at

9.30 Sunday morning ALL ENTRANTS in go to whoa please check these results.

NOTE only vehicles involved in driving events are allowed in that erea ALL other vehicles

are to remain in the show n shine erea.There no parking allowed at all around the skid pan erea.
