just did a compression test and the results are as following



1 181
2 165
3 160
4 172

after putting oil in spark hole about 3 drops

1 189
2 170
3 170
4 180

Tis screwed is it not


Car is a st141 toyota corona

2L 2s-c

To me that means the rings are fine but the valves aren't sealing 100%.


You did do it warm didn't you?


And does it matter?
Isn't the T going in soon?

I personally dont think the compression results are a problem.

10psi difference might seem like alot, but from wat i see across the many forums i attend, 10psi is acceptable.

i thought my compression would of been all over the chart and not over 100 Razz

just found my engine manual it says

nominal 1178kPa
minimum 880kPa

1 bar = 100kpa


189 = 1300
170 = 1200
170 = 1200
180 = 1250

PSI .. kPa

i think thats calculatored around right?

sweet my engine is running above average




with the 3t-gteu i still need a couple of minor things but i need someone to do the wiring i think i'm missing some of it Confused
