Should be available on ALL MX73's.
At least all I have seen.

Maybe not on the povo spec GLi imports though.

Anyway, I went to get frank one from the wreckers, but they wouldn't sell it to me without the whole bumper.
I gave him a dumb look, shook my head, and left.
They obviously didn't want my money.

ITS NOT EVEN ATTACHED TO THE FUCKING BUMPER.

nah, theres a different style available - the one above is the crappy version...

ill take a pic this evening and post it.

what happened to mine? its a little short around the sides to sit flush with the wheel arches on the ma61, so i need a 2nd lip to cut up and modify onto the existing one - making one, perfectly fitted spoiler Nod

hmm, the one above is the only one I have ever seen on an MX73, ever, anywhere in the world.

Will be interesting to see any pics.

Ed, I just went through about 100 MX73 pics, and they are all the same.
The only possible difference, is that the 87/88 MX73's is a bit thicker (top to bottom).

Otherwise the only thing that differed was the angle the photo was taken on.

http://www.oz-enet.com.au/~peewee/15inch_rims_2.jp g
Slightly different angle.

nah... this is distinctly different from those ones youve posted...

your one whem mounted, is simply butted against the bottom of the front skirt, where as mine has an overlapping lip that covers the skirt by 1/2" or so. also, yours has a 'click' join in the middle, whereas mine has a sliding male/female fit to take up a bit of slack in mounting position...

also, youll note that mine as a differnt profile/shape to it.

definitely off a cressy

though youve now got me wondering if its a mx83???

I wondered that too, but you know your cars, so I didn't question it.

One easy way to tell tho.
If its colour coded, its MX83 (99% chance)
If its plastic black, its MX73 (90% chance)

But I can't find any good MX83 pics with spoiler lips.

Then 90% chance its MX73.

Only uber povo spec MX83's had unpainted spoilers, and I'm talking like the diesel LX81 imports are the like.

You must have found a few late model imports.

If you find one, grab it regardless of condition.
They aren't that common.
Then just sand it back, bit of spray putty, and paint it maroon.

its not a case of them being in bad cosmetic condition, ut those that ive seen have all been MUNCHED in front enders etc..

though, even a munched one would probably get me out of trouble at the moment

ANYONE??

cheers guys!

I passed in a wrecker on the way home and had a browse.

They had one like CruZida has and it is a bit rough, but might grab it on the way home jsut to play around with

Sounds like you are lucky getting a good one. What section of your type do you want if it is munched ?

Cheers

im just after a piece of straight, front section. i need to cut this up and extend the side sections (where it otherwise is too short, and is on a taper)

pics of how one of peewee's would look would be cool

cheers

Ed,

Had a look at the one on the way home last night.

It was the type that 'clips' together in the middle and is hard ABS type plastic whereas yours is soft ?

It was pretty rooted at one corner so didn't worry about it

Cheers

I HAVE ONE.

...but I want your first born child for it.
Just kiddin' Very Happy

I'm pretty sure it's the right one, I took it off my mx73 years ago because the the screw mounts on the sides broke off. Sounds like you don't need the sides anyway?

It's under my parent's house on tambourine mountain (100km from my place) so I'll grab it the next time I'm up there. Hmmm... good excuse for a drive through the mountains.. Evil or Very Mad

Seeing as you've been hunting for 9 months, I don't think you'll mind waiting another week or two, right?
I'll pm you some pics once I've got it to make sure it's the right one. Other than that, you pay for postage and it's yours.
