1981 RA40 Celica Exterior Parts Wanted Sun, 11 September 2005 14:10 Go to next message
I'm looking to clean up my wife's old 81 Celica, currently in need of:

RHS front indicator

The plastic black strip over the A pillar (RHS)

Replacement arial

I don't have any experience with model or sourcing parts for it, any URLs with part numbers or online sales (if they exist...) would be cool. Happy to cover shipping costs to Perth. PM or email me!

Mate, the indicator lense should be easy to get new from a parts supplier eg autobarn, the arial should just be an aftermarket replacement from same, and as for the black piece on the a-pillar... most of the ones around have all the clips broken, so if yours just has that problem, then moulding some new clips from an epoxy like 24hr aryldite should be attempted... some shallow holes and roughing marks are suggested to help the glue bond better. possibly even put some metal pins in to glue around... this is best done by heating the pins, and inserting them into the plastic, allowing to dry and then pouring the epoxy over. If your missing the piece altogether, ill see if i can track you down one. email me o_man_ra23@yahoo.com.au

Cheers, Owen.
