VIP UZS131 Crown - Yeah Baby!

Ok guys here is my new toy that replaces the hachi........ Sad yes i know but as you would agree this is a fine automobile. We have here one 1989 UZS131 Toyota Crown, in true Japanese VIP style. Motorvation is by 1UZFE V8 hooked up to auto tranny. Paint is a custom metallic blue with dark blue metallic through it. Kit is a combination of Junction Produce and unknown. Guards are rolled and flared, although flares will be moulded on and existing kit modified shortly. Rear wing is moulded to the car for that smoooooooth look. Exhaust gasses escape through 3inch stainless exhaust with twin 3 inch stainless tips. Rolling stock is taken care of by Garson and measure a massive 18 x 11 front 0 offset and a huuuuuuuuuuuuge 18 x 12.5 negative 22 rear. Rear rims have approx 18cm of pure dish, amazing wheels. Interior is your typical pimp fare, all the luxury extras include split rear air con, inbuilt fridge, electric seats, adjustable digital dash, satnav setup (tokyo only, to be replaced with tv setup shortly) and one of my favourites electric adjustable steering column. This car is going to be the tow car (yes TOW CAR!) for the OneVia (http://www.qldstreetcar.com/forum/index.php?showto pic=7965) so should make a good pair. Plates for the car are PIM95, rather apt if you ask me. Future mods include full audio visual setup and much cruising. Thanks go to Justdave for taking some very quick shots for me, more proffesional shots will be put up later (taken by the infamous JustDave of course)

words of warning - get ALL your front suspension bushes replaced.
Otherwise, nice crown..... pity about the jap spec wiring in the engine bay

Yep going to be done before she hits the road champ, Jap spec wiring is so damned typical, found 12 pieces of wire running off a earth point in the car, to the negative terminal lol. Big thanks to you too champ for the info on the rear shocks, going to replace those this week (maybe if i can get off my lazy ass).

Dont quote me but im not sure you can import them (as modified as this one) anymore under the 15 year rule. I beleive needs to come over stock under SEVS then VIP it from there.........

No you cannot import the UZS131 anymore. Mine and this one were brought in under the old 15 year rule, which has been axed and replaced by the pre-1989 rule - you cannot bring the crown in under SEVS laws.
Makes me happy knowing i own one of very few in australia

Yeah, good news for us UZS owners hahaha. Yes exhaust I dare say will earn me a tow truck trip, might have to look at putting some mufflers in her, neighbours are cracking the shits already

Yeah as Witzl said it landed here like that. Its a Junction Produce Bar thats on the front. Figured out how to "cheat" as such with the exhaust. Im going to put a Apexi EGV etup in it, its a butterfly style setup that you can use to quieten your exhaust.

Got the front bar all fixed up now, took her to AutoSalon here in Brisbane as her first showing all pretty like and picked up "The Luxury Lowrider" trophy. Pretty happy with that. Heres some more pics from the show. Funny thing was I forgot to put her on her lowest setting too haha.

Yeah its common for the japs to stretch them to fit them under the guards more. These have negligible scratches on them though so for the moment alls good
