thats not bad... what are you getting besides the engine? loom ecu?
i just sold my FWD package (gbox, ecu, loom) for $400 and it was pretty shagged.

I paid $250 for a bigport 4age with ecu, coil, ignitor etc. Didn't have wiring loom, flywheel.
Had 120,000km on it.

I just bought a JDM AE86 96kW Bigport 4AGE, with loom, alternator, fuel rail, few other little bits and peices for $620 delivered to my door. Had a rebuild 10,000kms ago too .
Look around more man, unless you are actually planning to do a rebuild (ie. to turbo one or something), try to find one that won't need one...

then your probably gonna be rebuilding anyone you buy to take boost unless you get a 4agze and go from there. I think the price is reasonable i have seen them go for plenty more. Search a couple more forums, maybe twincam.org, and others 4ag related sites and compare prices that way.
