What sort of condition is the engine in? Was the car owned by yourself? or was it just an import that had a 3S-GTE or something put in...? how many kilometres and stuff has it done? Thanks.

The engine is an import, they said it had 80,000 ks. It was in my mates camry for about 4 months then he found a cheap 3sgte and put that in. I bought the engine because i was going to put it in my car, but decided not to now due to financial reasons.

Hey, how much would this cost to be shipped to Melbourne and stuff...? would there be any easy way of getting it here...? or would it be fairly expensive? Do you know if your friend had to do a lot to get it in his camry? Thanks. No problems with the engine?

The 2nd gen conversion had been done on st162's, if you have 5k+ infront of you, go ahead and go the 3sgte route  .
