Hi folks.
new to the site. I'm looking to build a 3SG KP61 for autocross. hopefully to learn more from you guys.
Here's my current battle car..
Model: 1982 Starlet (in StreetMod2 trim)

i love this car i really do
there is a quad light set up for these that looks tops
and the peugeot 205t16 kit goes on also with ease for sumfin different
i wish oz got these as i would no be ownin an 86 anymore
top work all round

if australia got the KP61, why would anyone bother with a spoontah?? the KP61 is just soo much better
what is it with "highway racing" that goes on in the US? seems a bit weird really..
do you have the injectors inside the carb bodies? or in the original 4AG position?
what are you doing for timing? MSnS? MSnEDIS?? more info on MS install please
what is idle kpa with the 272's??
oh yeah.. car looks awesome, esp the matt black

ah thats what everyone says but I actually put non-slip drawer linings (same color) on it when I race and it works great I also have a lap and torso belts

Hi,
I think the power and 13" wheels is just right for its weight. at 1900lbs there will be many AE86s lighter than it with even more power. 13" wheels will keep you at the sweet spot of the rpm band all the way to the redline (loud!). It is a handful in the wet though - one time I actually ended up last place in a wet pro event against modern cars with traction control
I wanted to race with wider tires but overall diameter and weight comes with that so i would need more torque to compensate. its going to be a busy winter project for me, that is if i source all the parts for the conversion, maybe another roller car too
