Hi,
I am posting for a mate who is putting a manual motor out of SV21 into an auto Apollo.
He is having trouble with the flywheel and flexplate fitting from the apollo onto the camry engine. One has 6 holes and the other has 8. I have not looked at the cars but I think maybe the Apollo used a different auto trans than camry.
Can anyone comfirm this? and has anyone had this problem before... any recommended solutions.

What motor was in the apolla? was it the carburettor 3s-f? or fuel injected 3s-fe?
I'm going to be putting a gen1 3s-ge into my mums apollo, and she only drives an auto. so it looks like i will need the auto box/flywheel from a st162 celica.
As far as fitting the box's are same same same.
The 3SF early has a 6 bolt crank and the late has a 8 bolt so
just get the drive plate that fits and the box will match up .
