I have a front sump and rear sump for 18RG both with oil pickups. Anyone interested should decide their offer, and email it to O_man_ra23@yahoo.com.au the rear sump has also got the main bearing cap bolts that suit the rear pickup.

Cheers, Owen

with most early celica's containing an 18r, the crossmember curves to the front of the car requiring the sump bulge to be more rear facing.

a front sump 18rg puts the bulge at the front, ironically the same configuration as celica's with 2t's in them as on the t series celica's the crossmember curves towards the rear.

this allows you to put an 18rg into a t series celica (or to find a rear facing crossmember with power steering attached for your r series celica which is what i was going to investigate....but missed out Sad )

front sump got sold to mr witzl and will be recieved by aus post today. Barned... the RA23/28/40 18R sump is actually a mid sump. therefore the bulge is directly in the middle. The rear sump i believe is actually for something like a hiace van etc. Unsure exactly what else this is useful for tho. Thanx for the breif description for the knowledge of others tho.

Cheers, Owen
