I agree and pics of people falling from the burning 9/11 towers was a low point too.

no i was actually thinking about debadging the car but the side strips have twin entry turbo written on them i want to make it a sleeper, shame i have to change the mags. Can't get any decent performance rubber in 14inch 205/60/14 size.
i think you should out a lexus badge on the back of your soarer jokes, oh wait someone else already did that.

And river would be right!
And yes, 1973 was Toyotas best year. After they made the KE25 Toyota sat back and thought "hey, this is a great little car... now let's make a true machine of elegance" And thus, the RA25 was born. After a couple of years Toyota realised it was too good and they had to lessen it's looks, so they made the RA28. And they also decided the 18RG was far too good for the masses.. so they neutered this marvellous engine with lower compression, anti-pollution gear, then committed their greatest atrocity to it and gave it EFI.
Alas, it's all been downhill from then on.....
Judgement day is not near. It's come and gone.... back in 1973!

Regardless of the original content or purpose of the thread.
nearly every thread recently has been derailed by people talking about something completely unrelated, while i dont give a crap when it happens in the outhouse, when it happens in the for sale section drives me up the wall.
it generally goes like this.
Seller offers items.
random asks for more parts than the seller has.
Seller states that he/she doesnt have those parts.
Some/a couple of randoms debate the pricing of the object(s).
4-16 people comment on the quality and value of the item.
and then the thread sinks to the bottom of the pile because even the seller forgets about it.
and the whole cycle repeats, its annoying.
why did i have to say it? because its been annoying me for quite some time and i wanted to rant

methinks in the new forum layout, the "Classifieds" moderator will be using a big stick for some time... and it can only be a good thing... for sale should be for sale.. not discussion, or EOI, or auctions etc... there are other places for that.
