Brakes Mon, 19 September 2005 23:08 Go to next message
I've just had my brakes upgraded to commodore discs at the front and have had a commodore diff put in with commodore disk in the rear, what will be a good brake booster to use, i shoud also mention my standard booster is alot bigger then a standard ke30's, apparently the 78 model ke30s came out with a bigger booster,
any help would be good
cheers

Are you sure you need to upgrade your booster? If you have bigger brake pistons then a bigger master cylinder is needed, but the original booster could well be kept. May save you some hassle.

AMI built KE30/50 have a PBR booster. You will find that the Commodore master cylinder will bolt straight up to the PBR booster. I used a KE30 PBR booster with VN Commodore master cylinder in my Crown. You will need to make some new lines to the front brakes - twin outlet compare to single.
