Badging a TA22

I have a Ta22 Celica, it is mechanically GT spec, basically it has a 2TG, 5 speed and the 4.1 diff ratio.
I dont have decals or the OK monitor, but to me it is in essence what Toyota made as their GT, although it may not be from factory.
im making up some of the GT Type stripes that go down the side of the car.
i dont want to badge it as a GT, however, because it is GT Spec mechanically, i want to at least pay tribute to that, i was thinking of using either GT-R, GT-X GT-S something like that...
im kind of leaning towards GT-X, because its not as popular as the GT-R, or GT-S (mr2's etc.)
i know that theirs a GTV model of ta22, but this isnt a GTV, since they were completely stripped down to the basics to save weight.
I want peoples opinions as to what i should choose, and if there are any suggestions.
I dont want a massive discussion or name calling, im doing this because its my car and i can, if this thread gets out of hand, i will request that it be locked.
Cheers, ill attatch a pic of what i mean in a lil bit.

after about 7 long hours testing, resizing, and editing in MS paint, i have created this.
ive used the "GT" from the new ford GT40, the rest is custom.
ill be working out a few colour schemes to see what goes bes twith my car.
and no, im not producing them for sale, this is a personal thing
im going to start working on how to integrate "GT-S", "GT-X" and maybe "GT-22" or "GT-0" something generally along those lines, im hoping the end result will be about 10-15 designs, each in 10 or so colour schemes.

ive done a "GTS" and "1600 GTS"
so far i think its coming along awesomley, and the fact that im only using paint makes it even better.
Ill ge to work on the GTT now, ill upload all of the recent pics in about 15-20 mins

cheers for the comments guys,
Yeah Mitch i know about that fella, but id prefer my own design as i dont want to defile the GT name (i have some plans for this car that people wont agree with..)
also, for the price, i figured ill just give it a go myself, since i do have 2 years of graphic design under my arm, and id prefer a little project..
although now ive given myself too many options

Working now....
I'd say the 1600 GTS is the ticket, bit more fitting to what the car is...

hey i like the way your idea is heading but im thinking of doing the same sorta thing for my RA-23 but slightly different to the standard design and also doing them in a reflective black similar to the mach 1 mustang stipes. But thats just my idea.

Yeah ive still gotta go to the place that prints these things and see what they can do for me and how much it will cost...
im doing all of these designs in MS PAINT with 16 colours, so i can avoid blurring the boarders out, which gives me the shits.
i stress, this is a very very very early design, theres a long way for it to go yet
