Racespec : in regards to the pricing of $1500 for the JZZ30 AP Engineering Power FC, is this price to your door? Or will this product attract a further tax of duties and GST?

cheers

I beleive he quoted 1600 with hand controller. Apexi never made the Power FC for the 1j's, AP engineering units have been tweaked so that you may enjoy Power FC goodness on your 1j's Smile

Hope this helps!

Cheers

So if I do all my own research, How long will it take to actually obtain a Power FC & controller for JZX100 from you?? 5DAYS? A MONTH? YEAR? And will Inflation be an issue by then?
Please let me know one way or the other.

Evan.

These units are pretty good and are comparable to the big guns. Most of the time it comes with a base map thats better then OEM. Tuning is done by hand controller or an authorised Apexi shop as the software its self is in Japanese.

Further more - they are plug-n-play and use all factory sensors (unless you want boost controll or disable afm sensor). Later engines have the standard Apexi unit, Whereas "AP engineering" units are modified to suite the pin/loom of your model and engine generation.

Eg. Apexi only ever officialy realsed a GEN III 3SGTE PFC. But AP engineering has modified the loom + base map to suite GEN II versions.

The good thing about these units is they run your car like its completely stock all the functions like aircon and idle up will still be there.

visit - www.apexi-usa.com
You guys should really do research before asking for more information instead of making a whinge.

can anyone elaborate on the software tuning side?
ie. do aussie tuners tune it via the commander or is there options availible to tune it via a laptop? with appropriate software/cables ect ect.

i dont like the idea of a 'full tune' via the handset Crying or Very Sad

theres nothing wrong with handset tune?

wolf, microtech even motec has hand controllers?

You still get to see the map sites in graph scale just like the other apexi products I assume.

As for power and reliabilty -

A few of my mates running Power FC
GEN III 3SGTE. Blitz KKK turbo, Cams = 200RWKW, 11.9 Second car
RB26DETT. Highflowed turbos 157AWKW 7Psi. 298AWKW 15psi after tune

these were tuned on the dyno by a reputable apexi trained personels

There is a converted english version of the software going around im sure you can buy for like $200 and give to your tuner if you want the traditional laptop method
