i'm prob way off the mark hear but i think the twin cam AE82's had one. but maybe i'm thinking of a later model.
i know that there was one for sale on e-bay a few days ago.

ae82's came with factory oil coolers as did the n/a aw11 mr2 but it was a water cooled system

I was assuming the ae86 twin cam had em and the ae92 with 4age had em. oil/water coolers did not have a sandwich plate like aftermarket coolers right?

where does it come from? i mean, does it originate from the oil filter mount? or?
i have one on my 3SGTE, but it kinda looks like a gearbox oil cooler  seems a bit weird to have a gearbox oil cooler on a manual (AWD) gearbox, but not a cooler on the turbo motor...
hmm might go and have a look again

my old sx hatch AE93 with a 4a-ge came out standard with a oil cooler if thats any help 2 u.
