Temp sensor is the single wire sensor.
The 2 wire sensor is the sensor for the ecu.
As for the idle, make sure the ISCV has +12v to the 2 centre pins, and make sure the TPS is in IDL with the throttle plate closed.

Yeah, they should have +12V.
From memory they get their voltage from the EFI Main Relay (if its hooked up correctly)
So they should have the same voltage as +B and +B1.
But that could vary from model to model, this is the JZZ30 wiring I'm looking at.

i adjusted the throttle position sensor and it has stopped revving up and down. but it still revs high, would this be the ISCV?

You have to make sure the throttle plate is 100% closed, then reset the TPS to IDL if needed, and it should work perfect after that.

ISCV will not work without +12v

Remember those thin metal strips (usually in a fan of various sizes) that we used to use to set the points gap in a distributor?
Those are thickness gauges. Probably still available from auto parts shops for not too much $$

Ignore the thickness gauge bit.
Just make sure IDL is SC at closed throttle (plate fully closed) and OC a teeny bit open
