Hey Guys

We are looking at BRIGING in some FULL RECLINEABLE RECARO STYLE SEATS.

The seats feature
- Full Reclineable Settings
- Metal Sub-Frame for increased rigidity and support
- Universal rails (supplied with each pair)

They are available in the following colours
- Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Grey, Dark Blue, Green and Pink

PREBUY PRICE of $380 plus DELIVERY ($50-$75 interstate)

Normal RRP of $450per pair.

We require a down payment of $250 to secure the seats. Once ordered, they will take 4 - 5 weeks to arrive and despatched immediately as per the STRUT BRACE group buy.

We will be getting them ADR approved soon hopefully. At the moment, they are not.

We have been speaking to a design engineer regarding ADR and the number of seats they require for testing.

Although, they do meet the criteria of ADR standards, for approval we would need each seat to have an ADR approval number placed on it

Most seats are not ADR approved, example BRIDE

How come the Bride seats are not ADR approved?

Bride didnt manufacture them for the Australian market and as such, have never been tested to the ADR standards. This doesnt mean they are bad, or good or anything, just that they havnt been tested, and for legal reasons only ADR approved seats are able to be engineered (well, they can be engineered, but thats not worth twat if the seats arn't ADR'd)

once buy is completed i will have the seats send over, which takes, 4-5weeks to get in from date of purchase

modifying the rails is quite simple, you just chop parts of your originals onto the universal rails

With the colours, in the first pic there is a seat that is black and grey, can you get them 2 toned like that? Or just 1 solid colour?

We can get the DUAL colour options, but we would need a minimum of 5 pairs in the dual colours

and they are $50 extra per pair

just to clear a few things up:

So these seats will be ADR approved before delivery?

Its an extra $50 a pair to have dual colours in either cloth or leather?

In the original pic of the dual colour I cant seem to find the whit/light grey colour on the colour chart - is there more colours available?

these are not ADR approved, we have submitted proposals to an engineer, we are waiting for a response from them

We can sell these as long as we state they are NOT ADR APPROVED at the moment

the colour in the pic is GREY and BLACK

I'm very interested in a pair.

Do you have one available to try sitting in them ? I would like to try one before committing, but am very interested and I am in Adelaide.

What is the mounting like on the base ? 4 bolts that will be vertical when in car position ?

Is it possible that these seats will be able to be stamped if you ADR approval at a later date ?

Could be a little bit difficult for AE86 drivers, sinse the seat rails are hard to get out without breaking the dam chair.

Most peole push their car from a standing position, leaning slightly forward. You might find it easier to do it this way than in a seated position.

Yes, I too am interested pending ADR Approval. Engineers don't really like handing out certificates for non ADR seats in NSW very much.
