Hi people just wondering how hard or what the process is, involved in enlarging a transmission tunnel
im looking at doin it , in an old rolla
if i got someone to do it, how much would that cost to get done?
is/has anyone here done it?

It depends. A relatively minor enlargement can be acheived with a big hammer and lots of elbow grease. Beyond that you have to cut the trans tunnel out and weld in a new one, either from another car or a custom made one.

well im hoping that it will be possible to put in a 12a rotary engine in a ke30 so i need like an rx7 box to go behind that
is it possible with relative ease?
will bashing the shi*6T out of the tunnel suffice in this case?

i have seen a few enlarged tunnels in my time, tso have been cut out and new reshaped metal welded in place, and i have seen some, where a hammer and metal bar have neen used to bash the fuck out of the tunnel.

Rotor in a KE30 is a cut and shut job, go to badrotor. These guys know what is involved in putting a rotor into just about anything.
