Definatly not a AE92 block.

Only 3 ribs, so she's a bigport AE82 version block.

Seems like a good price too.

Bear in mind that if that still has the original crank and rods, they will have the smaller bigend bearings.

Smaller bigend = slightly weaker, but, a fair bit lighter. Great in a stock or slightly modified motor....

400 dollars is cheap for a "new" bottom end.

One day bout 3 months ago a guy that went through a KFC drive thru one afternoon parked next to me while i was chowin down on some chicken was chickening out my 86 in his Calais. It was pretty full sick with holographics and all. Pulled next to me in a park and started to talk about his sprinter Shocked Bought it from a local bloke and continued to explain how he paid $2800 for a "brand new" 4age motor. I almost choked on my food. So in any scenario i'd think that this is a good buy.

its definitely worth the price for a new one.
I'm extremely happy with my ge, alot have ppl have commented that it is the strongest pulling stock 4age they have been in.

come on ppl buy it.

it will be hard to sell as every one wants the later blocks.i give all my 3 ribs blocks away 4 free.u are right it is cheap just unlucking that its a 3rib block.

I would have been interested.....as my AE82 has shot rings- cept that i picked up a seca in good nick save for the big dent in the front of it with a bigport 4age.

Just on the 3 rib 4a.....if anyone is giving one away that is in good nick id be glad to take it as i want to play around with one of these engines for a project Very Happy
