The plenum and throttle body are they just factory items? Also what was the disaster? are the rods and crank ok?

The plenum and throttle body are factory items.
The disaster is buying a "rebuilt" motor and getting a bucket of crap.
The crank and rods are not damadged as far as i know.
I believe it is a 3tgte block- there is an oil drain on the turbo side and sump breather on inlet side.

newbien - Yes the turbo + manifold will bolt up to a 3tc.
lilcrash - i should have the motor stripped down next week, ill post pictures then
styler - the pistons are standard cast 3tc items .50 oversize.They are as new ( fitted to a motor which has never been started)
gazza69 - send me a PM. The dizzy and injectors are still avaliable.
