^^ exactly, much better value for $$ out there, AE86 is a real enthusiast's car not the elite budget drifter people think. If you have 10K+ to buy a decent imported AE86 then just get a R32 gst-t or a 180sx or S13 or 300zx etc. etc. instead

Garth and numerous other people imported cars through J-spec.

Everyone knows Garth, ask Garth. Where's Garth?

Are you afraid of calling them or something? They will know what they're doing. Ask the people here and you'll get a bajillion answers. Only those who have actualy imported through Jspec will give the correct answer, and their answer may be out of date. Just give Jspec a call.

How can you be so in to sprinters... and yet now know about this stuff?

Dude just import yourself! Its easy and takes bout 3 months from stat to finish.

Do your research through dotars
Get import approval
send money with Telegraphic transfer
speak with local customs and pay fees
Car arrives it will be trucked to you
Make changes for compliance
get blue slip (helps to know someone)
get rego

BURNOUT!!!!

IT ALL STARTS WITH RESEARCH!!!!!
I saved around $3000-$4000 on my SC AW11
