OK, my Crown need to be sold now. I'm only after $1000 for it complete or will consider selling it minus motor and box. Here are the details:

Its a 1966 Toyota Crown with a Holden 186 and Celica 5 speed.

Its got:

*Holden 186 motor
* CRS Celica 5 speed rebuild and conversion retaining original hydraulic clutch set-up
*3.9:1 Toyota 4 pinion diff
*Full chassis, good basis for a drag car build/V8 conversion, etc.
*Straight body thats 99% rust and damage free
*Has been registered with the current conversion for many years now (since 1970's)
*1 month VIC rego (original rego, original plates)
*All original black vinyl interior in good condition
*Original rims and hubcaps and/or 14" mags
*Only 1250kgs, not a bad weight for this size car with full chassis
*All heater, lights, blinkers, etc. work well

Will need new brake shoes in the near future and a speedo cable which is about $45 from CRS.

Its located on the Central Coast, NSW, just over an hour north of Sydney. Can be sold complete or as a roller minus the motor and box if it is going to be the basis of a project.

Contact me at big_als_army@hotmail.com or 0404 113 734 for any further info, pics, to comment or if interested.

Thanks,

Alex

Dude, its like $300 to ship a car to adelaide, or about $350 to fly over and drive it back.

You are both right! Thanks for the support.

Its an absolute bargain at this price. I probably wouldn't say its immaculate but its pretty neat and tidy and reliable. The motor, box and rims are worth what I want for it. The rest of the car comes free. I flew down to Melbourne to pick this car up a year ago and drove it back. It cost me just over $100 in plane fares etc. and about the same in petrol to get it back. Melbourne to Sydney freighting of cars is expensive but Sydeny to Adelaide is cheap, probably $300-350 sounds right. Flying over and driving it back would probably come in about $50-100 less.

Once again, I'm keen to sell this car as I just have to many at the moment and it is going at a bargain price.

For any further info or pics, e-mail me at big_als_army@hotmail.com or call 0404 113 734.

Thanks,

Alex

Still for sale. Some interest shown but nothing solid. Less than 2 weeks VIC rego left so it would be easier to buy registered and drive home. If this doesn't happen I will consider selling the rolling shell and the motor and box separately. Is there any interest in the roller? I don't want to have to sell some parts and scrap the rest. These classics need to stay on the road. Its too good to wreck! C'mon people!

There must be some interest out there for this old classic. It needs to go soon as the rego is almost out. It would be easier to drive it home on the current rego than to muck around towing it. I am still open to selling the rolling shell minus the motor and box if someone wanted to restore it to original.

Classic going cheap here!

Last day of rego today Sad Some interest has been shown but nothing definite. I will very strongly consider selling it as a roller and selling the motor and box elsewhere if someone is interesed. Let me know.

Thanks.
