Well guys here are pictures of my car, before this I had an sr20det vvl powered 72 celica. Prior to that was 3tgte and 18rg's. I have decided to go with the f20c because I wanted a high horsepower hi reving stock n/a engine. All the work was done out of my garage except for the paint and the rollcage. The white car use to belong to my friend Pete, he now owns my old red car and the silver one with flares. Both are sr20 vvl powered.
T3 parts on my car are:
crossmember spacers, nrca's, 4 link, lateral rod, shorten ae86 strut casing, agx shocks, g/c springs front, camber plates, big brake kit for ae86 w/wilwood 4 piston calipers, 15x7 Konig Rewinds and battery holder.
ae86 brake booster and master, dobinsons springs rear, 6 point cage by 1320 custom fab, paint by T3's friend Jason Armstrong, 4:3 ae86 lsd, 4 point Sparco belts, del sol seats on celica rails, s2k cluster, ae86 manual rack, ae86 gas pedal & throtle cable, h4 headlights, Griffin radiator, 14" electric fan, all new rubbers from Toyota, 75 gt grill, 72 bumpers, fuelcell, Bosch f/p, AEM engine management, and last but not least a 250 hp JDM F20C.

Hehhe.. I was looking at those pictures and thinking what an awesome job it was to have the engine mounted so far back! Look at where the engine's sitting in relation to the strut towers
Incredibly awesome looking car you've built there too btw mate! I can imagine it would be an absolute BLAST to drive!

It wasn't very hard at all. Did toyota screw all the celica owners or what? We have a very though instrument cluster to work with. It's very hard to make anything work and sit right in these cars. It took about 3 hours, 2 to stare at it and 1 to actually do it.

No pictures of the RG car, that was 10 years ago.
I wanted the engine as far back as possible.

It is an absolute BLAST driving this machine! Since I had my 3tgte and sr20det I've always been a turbo person. I didn't know if I was going to like this all motor stuff but the f20c is so fun cause I just find myself tearing through the gears. It's funny, the first time I had this car on the road I was actually afraid to take it pass 7000 rpm.

What GT parts are you looking for? email me f20c_celica@frontiernet.net. Those are polish cressida rims, if you lived closer to me I would give'em to you.
Sam_Q wrote on Mon, 04 July 2005 22:54 | awesome man, do you have some pics of when you were modifying the trans-tunnel? or more in progress pics in general?
|
Go through all 18 pages you'll find a few pictures of the tunnel getting chop up.

I'd say probably easier than here, especially aftermarket ones.

Would be keen to see some more pics / info on the celica's if possible.
