3sgte intercooler cap pressure	Sun, 09 October 2005 10:07

my intercooler(wta on top of motor) is heating up sumtimes but the from radiator is cool. Sumtimes if throughs the 54 error code... I took off the cap and it seems to b flowing good ( i made the pump run continously). I was thinking the cap is stuffed? Wat pressure should the cap hold? Maybe i will put sum new bearings in the pump thanks ty [Report message to a moderator]

Sounds a bit like the pump might be tired... Undo the hoses, and see how well things are flowing. [Report message to a moderator]

10.7-14.9psi so a 0.9 bar cap will do fine. [Report message to a moderator]
