start by finding out the diff code for the various models...

all those cars have beeen made for many years, and possibly have a number of different diffs used.

Generally speaking, the Liteace is E series (apart from the Liteace 4WD which is F series) and the Crown is F series (certainly from 1967 to around 1989 - most 130 series Crowns are G series). The early Taragos are E series, but couldn't tell you what the later ones are.

Many people told me that all the E series diff will fit other E-series diff , doesn't matter which car/model it comes from
I am only talking about the diff centre , not the whole rear end

Yes all E series centres are interchangeable, but as GiantTomato correctly pointed out most Crowns have F series or G series which are not interchangeable with E series centres.

From what I've seen E series centres are mostly found in vans and early MkII's.

Tarago uses E series same as Liteace & townace , so the diff centre are interchangeable.. good
Is it right to say that all E series diffs are interchangeable ... ?
