WTB - Celsior / LS400

Hey all,
Just signed up as i've recently been looking into early 90's Celsiors as a second car.
If anyone has one for sale (modded or not) please let me know either via pm or post in this thread.
I'm currently tossing up between importing and buying local, but would probably prefer to spend a bit more and buy a car I can inspect in person.
Preferably looking for good condition car around Melbourne area.
Cheers,
James

18k? Must have been pretty neat. Any pics?
I'm basically looking to spend between 9-16k depending on condition.
Would love to buy a car with VIP style kit already on it, but also can see the value in starting with a good example and working it up myself.

Very true, but at least the oz delivered cars are generally showing correct mileage and have some service history.
The dilemma I have is that it is a compromise either way, pay extra for less with more chance of reliability, or pay less for more but have more chance of finding problems.
Its a viscious circle! I'm beginning to think I should just sink the cash into my skyline.
autotalk - cheers.

mate...
1UZs are bullet proof, generally the only problem with the japanese models is the wear on the steering wheel and gearkobs and sometimes thier lack of consideration for things like wheels and bumper bars...
all of that is fixable relatively cheaply...
i know what path I would be taking, thats for sure

I heard when you use an aftermarket height controller that the airbags wont last long being 1/2 inflated????
and that they cost $1000 per corner to repair/replace???
Anyone know if this is true??
Cheers
Eric.

Maybe $1k brand new then????
Not sure if I read it somewhere but apparently the lower deflation imn the bags themselves allows them to pinch or something and this ruins them???
Not 100% sure though.....
Im defintitely getting a Celsior once I sell my GT Advance thats for sure!!!!
Cheers,
Eric.
