suspension noise Thu, 13 October 2005 09:31 Go to next message
hey all, my front right (drivers side) suspension is making funny noises. I have had a play and it is quite if i bounce on the car with the wheels straight, but if you turn the wheel and do it it makes the noise.

The noise is like an old bed i guess, you know when you bounce on one with springs. well its a bit like that. I mentioned it to the mech and he reckons that there is just a bit of dirt in it or something but i am not convinced. Sorry it is very vague but are there any thoughts?

Thanks

why not take it to another mechanic and get a second opinion? but sometimes it is hard to find noises, especially if you can only hear them when driving. my advice is just wait till it gets louder, that will make it easier to find Wink

Pfft lucky that it only sounds like an old bed

mines seems to clunk hard over small bumps and turning at high speeds (up to 50km Shocked )

Changing the bushes on it, might help.

I better do that before mine falls off
