i dont know about that particular model of splits, but boss audio are crap. Like, extreme low end stuff. Their splits go for 60 bucks on ebay, though yours look better, i doubt they're worth 350 on boss audio reputation alone

these ones sound very good man. im very happy with the set i have in my car.
they are not very popular here so people are mis-informed.
boss audio have 3 series of speakers.
you have 'riot' which are the cheapest of cheap speakers.
then is 'ripper' which are comparable to standard speakers to be run off a hu.
and there is 'IQ' which are very good speakers.

negative on the crapness.
thats when i was making the system to put in a mates car he wanted to copy the same thing as his mates car... so i found out what he had and found everything cheaper and better and most of the stuff was boss based.
boss is not a shit brand, its not really a brand you pay for there name. aka jbl

theres shit 'Boss' ie: fake/rip offs/copies, then theres real 'Boss' which is top line Audio equipment.... American made, not Chinese factory made and sold at Strathfield or the markets for the cost of less than a carton of VB.
