FS - MA70 Supra TURBO Limited - **PRICE DROP - now $4500** Sat, 24 September 2005 03:03 Go to next message
Ok, I have a 1989 MA70 Supra (Black) that i recently bought UNCOMPLIED (with a sick engine), intending to do a 1J conversion. Instead, I have decided that i will now sell the car, as I do not have enough time with Uni etc.

The car is :

89 MA70 GT LIMITED
Black
126,000kms
Tidy interior (seats/dash in exceptional condition)
Digital Dash
R154 5 speed manual transmission (I have driven the car and seems to feel in very good order)
17x8 & 17x9 "Stern" 2 piece wheels

Upon pulling the head off, we have discovered that the head gasket is blown (as happens to 99% of 7M's). The cylinder head itself is in very good condition, however, the block has some corosion in the water jacket of the 6th cylinder (which can be repaired if desirable). This car is perfect for people looking to do 1J/2J swaps into MK III Supras.

**PRICE DROP - now $4500 for a QUICK SALE!**

the usual things that need changing for compliance are:

rear seat belts (and possibly front)
side intursion beams in the doors
tightening of lower control arm ball joints
changing of the fuel filler neck (on the fuel tank, as ours needs to be narrower).

all of this can be done by compliance places for under 1000 dollars.

Hey.... is it still for sale?

Is it an MA70 or MA71?
Anyone know how difficult a 1J conversion is in one of these?

conversions are simple, source a JZA70 front cut, and everything will be a straight bolt in affair, nothing too hard!
