vented disc for ae86 solid disc's

hi all im after vented disc's for my ae86 struts what could i use i can use jap spec disc due to the clipar piston giving enough with
Ive tried dba and thay said there are no such disc available

1. Capitals at the start of a sentence.
2. To have a sentence you need full stops.
3. Spelling.
4. Better description of the CLIPAR problem.
5. Don't listen to DBA (if you rang them) check the online catalogue yourself.
6. Profit.
Also don't listen to fast fours forums and self drill your discs.
Best bet would probably be an upgrade at the same time, get vents and better performance to boot. Save buying discs again when upgrading.

Hey, I accidentally bought solid discs for the front of my AE86 not realising that they were thinner than my vented ones and the calipers don't have enough travel to work properly with the thinner discs.
They are brand new slotted DBA's. I payed $210 for them and just want to cover my costs.

Correct me if I am wrong, as I do not know one version of AE86 from another.
I thought the front end of the AE86 was the same as the RA23/28/40 series of Celicas. That is a solid front rotor and caliper to match?
Which model of AE86 has a front vented rotor and matching caliper?

Does this mean.
If I can get hold of the AE86 front strut assemblies from Japan (Struts, hubs, rotors and calipers), I can bolt them onto an Aussie AE86 and any other TA-22, RA23/28/40 that they may fit?
So,
Who is or can import these parts?
Because this becomes a very simple vented rotor upgrade.
Has anyone done this?
