TA22 Brake Upgrade questions Wed, 19 October 2005 04:28
Can commodore (VB - VL) struts be fit to a TA22 without an excessive amount of stuffing around? My main concerns are that they would be too long, and the steering mount points.
The reason for this is
a) bigger better brakes (VT twin potters)
b) So I can use 5-stud 15inch mags (15 inch is the smallest that will fit over top of the brakes).

Second, I want to get disc brakes and preferably a LSD in the rear of the car. If i have 5- stud front wheels then I need to get the rears changed over. Can the diff for a VB - VS be cut down to fit?

The reason for commodore parts is I know they are fairly reliable (except the engine / gearboxes). The 25spline diffs i know can take a pounding and the VT brakes I had on my VL pulled it up awsome.
