For sale is one bare 253 head. comes with tappet cover. Not sure if i have the cam bearing caps or not. There are no valves, springs, buckets etc. Good as replacement for cracked head. Has been cleaned and some port work done, unknown porter.

will accept any reasonable offer.

I also have a pitted(but not dead) 88230(i think) head, with cam bearing caps and valve cover, but otherwise bare.

also will accept any reasonable offer.

I think both have the front plate too.

Cheers, Owen

NO, i dont mean the front timing cover... i do have 1 spare of them, but it has been broken and re-welded, and now is too short. If you were willing to re-cut and re-re-weld it, then it would be useful, as long as you did a decent job of it. If your interested in that, let me know. The plates i mean are the access plates which allow access to the bolts that hold the upper timing guide on.

Cheers, Owen
