New Post above!!!!! No longer needed! Mon, 24 October 2005 14:55 Go to next message
Ask anyone on here, this car has literally had my heart and soul put into it, For one I'm saving for the future and want to put my funds in the right area...
http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/8821/kit8tg.jpg
http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/4009/kit26kf.jpg
The details are as follows:

1986 Celica Sx:
312,000kms (I assure you, anyone thats been in the car knows these have been Highway Kms, The car is in great nick)
Engine was Reconditioned at 200,000kms ago, New Piston rings, seals, head gasket etc)
I changed driveshafts recently!
Sunroof (factory)
Cruise Control (Factory)
Full SSV Bodykit (With Door Skins included, not on car at the moment)
2.25" Exhaust with Redback Muffler and Genie Extractors
K&n Panel Filter
King Spring Lows Front and Back
Whiteline Rear Sway bar
Rego till August 2006!

Rare as 15" OMP Rally Rims with 60% Rubber all round!!
High Flow Cat installed about 3 Months ago!
Few off things i didn't mention,
These come with VERY rare Bucket Seats (these were an option) Which is very rare in a 1986 model, It also has Electric windows and Mirrors. Interior is in IMMACULATE CONDITION..

Another note on the dyno figure, I haven't seen too many near stock celicas do 86.8 with a nearly stock setup, all that was done for this figure was a 2.25" exhaust...

Need to sell as I've got another car, This has to sell..
This is a VERY good price,
For a reconditioned engine at 200,000kms, A Brand new bodykit worth $1600, a Exhaust recently installed which was $700, A suspension setup worth $600,

$5800ono With Roadworthy!!!

Someone must be interested in a MINT ST162 with a LOT of work done and a suprisingly quick 3sge and 8 months Rego!

hahahaha,
The thing is, My first car was a Ae92 sedan CS as many of u knew, I had been driving that about for quite a while (i think about 8 months) it might have been slow but it was essentially my first car, just dad wouldn't sell it to me...

The ae82 was just the good fun little package I was always wanting to muck around with as well, And they are quite a bit cheaper!
Thanks again though ahhaha,

Ok, this is the most looked after and immaculate 162 i have ever seen! Its absolutely awesome. So if someone were to buy this be expecting to pay top dollar as the car and Adrian deserve it.

But....what the hell are you thinking Adrian? If you want to be able to chuck it around more just upgrade the suspension, don't get rid of it!Don't make me bash you!

3.5k Is quite a bit low,

This engine is in mint condition,
Kms are highway kms so the car has been driving at 100kms an hour,
As a pose to start and stopping..

Be lookin at above 5k.
The bodykit is worth $1600 alone new,

This has the 3sge Gen 1 motor in it standard.

Had quite a bit of interest,
Just thinkin of what else i could say about the car.

Paint is considerably bright for its age, I've always polished it and washed it, many say i've washed it "WELL" hehe. I used to be a detailer, The paint is like new, Few tiny stone chips around the car, The bonnet is Black at the moment but I could have it arranged that it will be Red again, Gearbox is in really good nick, the only area that isn't 100% would be gettin into second gear from third, But i've found its only at Higher rpm that this occurs, but this is a common thing on these cars, The other gears are PERFECT...

Thanks for that Smashed Wombat,
Lookin around the 5.7k mark or 6k with roadworthy,
When u consider the fact that the suspension costed about $450, the Exhaust was $700 all up, a set of Rare OMP rims with decent tyres on them, a recoed motor, and a SSV bodykit which is literally brand new, only put on recently its a very reasonable price..
