K&N for AE101 20V Tue, 25 October 2005 05:56 Go to next message
Hey guys, decided it's about time to get myself a new air filter, and am looking for a panel filter to go in the standard airbox. After some searching i can't find a part number, and the corporate websites here and in the US don't have a listing for the 20V. I did a search by dimensions and it wasn't convincing enough.

Has anyone got a k&n panel in the standard airbox and can give me the part number? Or does everyone run pods?

Thanks

Yeah, tried looking for that but wasn't sure if they're the same. Any chance you could pull your filter out and give me the external measurements of the panel, and the k&n part no?

Go to an AutoOne/Autobarn/Repco, take your filter in, and find a paper one the same size - find out what its from, and order a k&n one. Thats what I did for the AE92 Trueno - turned out it was the same as a 4AFE filter.

yeah i can do it for you tomorrow and post up results in arvo if you want. otherwise, yeah what he said, take yours inside when u get there. i reckon it will be the same as the 4afe, not the 7afe, i have a feeling that the part numbers were different when i saw the book when ordering mine, but the 4age/fe i think were the same.

no need part number is A1268.

Whose part number is that? It's not a k&n number, and i've tried repco/autobarn etc and lucked out?

Edit: Nevermind, google is my friend! For anyone searching later, A1268 is the ryco part no, the equivalent k&n part no. is KN33-2672
