4AGZE Gearbox oil LSD	Mon, 31 October 2005 00:55

I have a 'ZE with an LSD and i have been told that the gearbox oil should be of a different grade to a standard box without an LSD. Could anyone tell me what grade of oil should be used? The LSD is the factory fit and not a aftermarket one. The factory specifications would be useful to know for both with LSD and without if anyone has them handy Thanks [Report message to a moderator]

i have the factory specs for the gze gearbox oil at home however i do know that you will need an lsd oil synthetic is preferrable. ive used castrol safx and motoul in mine which seem to work ok but are a tad thick. Some people use penrite stuff and swear by it. Others use redline oil [Report message to a moderator]

I bought some of that stuff yesterday at my local auto place... I didn't want to pay $100 for KAZZ LSD OIL, Im sure australian made works just as well! (havn't used it yet) [Report message to a moderator]
