AE92 4AFE RADIATOR WHITE SMOKE Wed, 02 November 2005 02:54 Go to next message
Hi all,
Yeah i recently bought a 1992 Ae92 with a 4AFE.
when i drive for about 15 mins, the temp guage sits on half way, is that normal?
i also noticed there is a strong coolant smell coming inside the car.
it also seems more noticeable when i first put on the air con.
After a drive for about 20min, most of my coolant gets used up.
when i come to a stop after all of this, a really thing stream of white smoke, from the radiator support on the passenger side, where there is like a little condenser or oil cooler or something....not sure what that is.

if anyone can help that would be much appreciated....
cheers
kuro

sounds as though your heater core is leaking, do the foot wells in the car get damp? i think its normally the passenger side that copes the water
