20v timing belt

What will happen if I don't change my timing belt until it breaks, as it's a non interference head the valves won't hit the pistons. Will it damage anything else? I don't want to change the belt because its going to cost me stupid amounts to have one imported through toyota.
I figure the 100,000k limit has to have a safety factor built into it, so the belt will probably last for a fair while after that.

A Camira belt is 1mm wider, but, otherwise identical. It works perfectly.
You might have to take your belt in to compare it as there might be different Camira belts out there.

Castle Hill Toyota stocks timing belts for a 20v. I changed mine when I put my 20v in my AE93. I've been told that most Toyota spares depts will supply imported bits if you give them the number. It wasn't very expensive. I'd need to check my reciept at home but according to a list that I downloaded from the net some the part number is: 13568-19035

110 teeth & 21mm wide.
bill sherwood states a LADA one will fit BUT the parts catalauge says that there 111 teeth?

nothing will happen if it breaks/slips
i have had mine slip twice now while at 8800 rpm, nothing happened mechanically apart from a sever loss of power from skipping 3 teeth.
stupid toyota belt tensioners

in referance to this post, the parts cataluage is listing a 4ageu timing belt and i checked my 20v belt and it had 111 written on it, obviously meaning 111 teeth, meaninig the lada one will probably fit.

Camira and Lada both have 111 tooth 19mm wide belt, but the lada has the correct type of ribs: as in round , camira has square. Lada timing belt gates- $34.00 [trade]from repco.
