How to get oxidised Webers looking new again?

I cleaned my twin webers a while ago by completely pulling them apart and giving the parts a good soak in petrol and then spraying them with carby cleaner.
These days they are looking really dull and white. Is there anything I can use to freshen them up and make them look good again?
Cheers

Also, carb shops have chemical baths. Get them dipped, and the will be shiny as. To maintain this shine, treat with protectant of choice. I hear a thin coat of clear works wonders as well.
