How to remove 1G speed cut?

My Gen 3 1GGTE (ori auto from a GA70,converted manual) has the 180 speed limiter and a rev cut at around 7600rpm I think... wasnt really looking at the digital meter.
Was wondering whether you can eliminate the speed cut ( other than installing RSM or FCD ) thru removing any wire/output from the meter like what you can do with some Mitsubishis.
Anyone? thanks for your help.

The speed cut can be removed by cutting the speed sensor wire. As you're no longer auto, the ECU doesn't really need it. It *will* throw a code though.
The rev cut is at 7200rpm, and there is no reason to change it with factory turbos and cams.
