They theived his pictures! Unless simon completely lost his mind or something Laughing

The engine was a bit of a give away, as was the paint condition "average".

On a lighter note, Simon's celica is fucking hot.

That so isn't the car for sale. I believe it says "Wheels slightly different." I bet thats not the only thing thats different. Who would buy that without seeing it in its convertible form. This is dodgy.

I've reported the seller to the Ebay gods. That is my car...Its one of the best examples of a TA22 GT you will ever see.

Why would anyone cut the roof off an immaculate TA22 like this and then sell it for $7500! This guy is a dreamer.

Hopefully ebay will remove it as Ive requested.

In the meantime, yes I'm thinking of selling this beast. There is already a keen buyer so someone else would have to come up with better $$ in a hurry for me to sell to them..
Its absolutely immaculate, the pic above gives some idea. Plus it has leather recaro seats front and rear, 4 wheel discs, full GT options, plus heaps of other stuff.
As most will know, all is on my site. This ebay buyer should have picked on a TA22 that wasn't so well known.

Cheers,
Simon

You know just thinking about it, I would have been better off buying the red TA22 you had instead of restoring my TA22. Financially I would have been better off AND had twin cam to boot. Sad

Back on track... There is a brown convertible TA22 in Canberra that I've seen a few times and it looks like a P.O.S imo. Definitely not worth $7500

It sucks that he's from Canberra...tarnishing our good name!

And yeah, I also would have been financially better off had I bought the car with all of the gt gear, but didn't realise it's value at the time Crying or Very Sad

At the moment it's making for a very expensive hobby getting all the gt gear back - I've still gotta get the centre console, rear shield and some badges...if anyone has these and is willing to sell PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

See ya,
Jason

PS Am looking forward to some of those CCG beer o'clocks when I move back to Canberra in December Very Happy

Jason,
Yep, finding GT gear isn't easy or cheap. It took me ages to find the console and I had it sold the first day it was for sale.
Not sure where you will find one.

Cheers,
Simon
