OK so now that I'm not a road rep anymore doing up to 1000km a week it's time to punt the 88 GTEU and get into an RZ.

I found a 95 6spd at Motorman Springwood with 43K on it and I drove it today and loved it, but the primary turbo sounds like a fan belt squealing - really high pitched. Is this normal?

The vehicle is absolutely stock apart from a BS exhaust chrome tip and bilstein adjustable shocks.

I've never driven one of these before so I'm hoping you guys could enlighten me before I dump 30K into this thing.

Sounds like the 'whine of death' or whatever they call it. It needs a new turbo Sad
