NEED HELP!!! coolant and engine parts Sat, 05 November 2005 07:28 Go to next message
hi. just recentl(2 horus ago) i started pulling the coolant/water pump of my 86 excell. during the process i've got a bit of coolant everywhere, round the timing belt and bits and piece's around there and on the engine.

just wondering should i be worried about the coolant rusting/oxiding or affecting lubricants in these parts. how bad is spilling coolant on your engine. just becuase i dont wanna go getting the watering can to get it off...or should i??

any info is good.

thanks

So you posted on the forum in an attempt to get out of walking to the shed for a bucket?

Damn, you're even lazier than me!
