45mm Trumpets Sat, 05 November 2005 22:08 Go to next message
Ok, with the spate of new quad throttle conversions, and new plenums being made up i figure someone will probably want these.

Plain and simple, 45mm trumpets (ill take a photo with the calipers soon), out of T6 alloy, with a seperate base. As they are a seperate base they are cut to length, so can be customised for any length you want (obvously shorter than current length)

Price: $100

Not sure on the boltspacing for 45mm Webers. But they should be able to fit reasonably, possibly with slight modifications.

They were originally for blacktop 20v throttles.

Weber bolt apcings are 65mm, 20v throttles are 73mm. Wouldn't quite fit, but it is massageable!

I think 65mm is the same as my 20v Silvertop throttles that i had bored out. Originally i was going to go to 20v Blacktop, and hence bought those, but i wimped out on creating the manifold and bought a set of silvertops and sold the blacktops but kept the throttles.

Let me go measure them up.

Ok just measured them up. 65mm looks quite managable actually, should fit with very few issues so far as i can see. They are actually 46mm ID too, out by one errors Razz
