J-spec Swap questions 88SC

Hey all, I am new to this board,
Here is my question.
I recently swapped a j-spec 4agze into my 2, It is already a true SC, but my question is, since I am not using the map system, and I am using the stock ecu, there are 2 sensors on the j-spec engine I am not sure what they are, one is on the intake man, and the other is on the side of the block just under the valve covers, there is an inlet for coolant. I also got the car running, but on some crappy gas and the timing is off, a bit anyway, but I am getting a knock sensor code 52, any one done anything like this kind of swap?
