Morning
Last night some tosser tried to steal my car Mad . In trying to start it he has mangled my ignition barrel. As a temporary fix i am going to put a push button ignition on. The wiring on the back of the ignition barrel is quite chunky. My question is: is this high amp wiring?

Yes, reasonbly high. The switch you will use for the starter will need to be rated at 30A at least.
